26/27 SEASON: JACKSON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Jackson, MI - It's my third season as principal harpist of Jackson Symphony Orchestra. Come hear me perform on the following concerts with music director, Matthew Aubin:
Saturday, October 17th at 7:30PM - Robert Russell Bennett's Four Freedoms, Gershwin's Porgy and Bess: A Symphonic Picture*, Camille Pépin's Feu d'artifice*, and Gershwin's Piano Concerto (with pianist, Jon Kimura Parker).
Saturday, November 14th at 7:30PM - Reena Esmail's Ram Tori Maya*, William Dawson's Break, Break, Break, Copland's Clarinet Concerto (with clarinetist, Guy Yehuda)*, Artie Shaw's Clarinet Concerto, and Bernstein's Prelude, Fugue, and Riffs, Symphonic Dances from West Side Story*, and Make Our Garden Grow from Candide (with soprano Madelyn Rouse and tenor Marcus Shelton)*.
Friday, February 12th at 7:30PM, Saturday, February 13th at 7:30PM & Sunday, February 14th at 2:00PM - Mozart's Overture to The Magic Flute, Dvorak's Violin Concerto (with violinst, Eva Zavaro), Bright Sheng's Black Swan*, and Schumann's Symphony No. 3 at Weatherwax Hall.
Saturday, March 13th at 7:30PM - Borodin's In the Steppes of Central Asia, Strauss's Horn Concerto No. 1 (with hornist, Leelanee Sterrett), and Mahler's Symphony No. 1*.
Saturday, April 24th at 7:30PM - Dukas's The Sorcerer's Apprentice*, Ravel's Piano Concerto in G* (with pianist, Orli Shaham), and Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe*.
