My harp students live across the city of Chicago and its suburbs to the North and West. They have performed with local youth orchestra programs including Chicago Youth Symphony, Midwest Young Artists, and Illinois Music Educators Association. I am also on the music staff as private harp instructor of both Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, since 2016) and New Trier Township High School (Winnetka/Northfield, since 2014). I teach lessons at my students' homes or, for enrolled high schoolers, at the campuses of Stevenson and New Trier.

In addition to exploring solo harp repertoire, music theory, and harp history, my students learn practical orchestral skills and how to prepare for auditions. I encourage all of my students to pursue ensemble experience whether in school, summer music camp, or regional youth orchestras. Students especially interested in arranging or composing for harp may also focus on music theory, composition techniques, and proper music notation.
