26/27 SEASON: DUBUQUE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Dubuque, IA - This season with Dubuque Symphony Orchestra I'll be performing two orchestra concerts with our music director, William Intrilligator, as well as an exciting chamber music concert featuring my own arrangements:
Saturday, November 7th at 7:30PM & Sunday, November 8th at 2:00PM - John Frantzen's Big City, Marcos Vinicius's Promenade dans la vie (with guitarist, Marcus DeJesus), Villa Lobos's Guitar Concerto, Higdon's Blue Cathedral*, and Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story* at Five Flags Theater.
Friday, April 9th at 7:00PM - Chamber concert featuring harp and string quartet at Voices Studios art gallery. The program will consist of my arrangements of Piazzolla's Escualo, Oblivion, Milonga del Angel, La Muerte del Angel, and Resureccion del Angel, and conclude with Saint-Saëns's String Quartet No. 1.
Saturday, May 8th at 7:30PM & Sunday, May 9th at 2:00PM - A Space Themed Finale features symphonic music by Strauss and Holst, and movie themes by John Williams and Hans Zimmer at University of Dubuque Heritage Center.
