Chicago, IL - Hear me perform with Lakeview Orchestra in residence at Lakeview's historic Athenaeum Center for Thought and Culture this season on the following concerts. As we say goodbye to our current music director, Gregory Hughes, at the end of this season, we look forward to welcoming several guest conductors who represent the finalists in our next music director search:
Saturday, September 21st at 12:00PM - This concert is presented as part of Chicago LIVE! at Navy Pier and features Copland's Lincoln Portrait*, narrated by Ari Gato and conducted by Gregory Hughes.
Sunday, October 12th at 2:00PM - Nicholas Koo conducts Barber: Symphony No. 1*, Schumann: Cello Concerto, Puccini's Intermezzo from Manon Lescaut*, and Sibelius: Symphony No. 7.
Sunday, December 21st at 2:00PM - Gregory Hughes conducts Tchaikovsky: The Nutcracker*.
Sunday, April 12th at 2:00PM - Michael Lewanski conducts Chavez: Sinfonia India*, Corigliano: The Red Violin Chaconne*, Montgomery: Hymn for Everyone, Shostakovich: Symphony No. 1.
