Chicago, IL - The Lakeview Orchestra's sixth season was my most exciting yet with a series of concerts in the orchestra's new home, the historic Athenaeum Theatre, built in 1911:

Tuesday, November 13th HOLST: The Planets, MATTHEWS: Pluto, The Renewer, WILLIAMS: Star Wars Suite, conducted by Josh Mather, with VOX 3 Collective, visual effects by Sarah and Joseph Belknap.

Tuesday, December 18th BIZET: Farandole from L'Arlésienne, TCHAIKOVSKY: The Nutcracker Suite, ANDERSON: A Christmas Festival, SILVESTRI: Suite from The Polar Express, HAGUE/PODDANY: Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, conducted by Gregory Hughes, with VOX 3 Collective, Ann James (narrator), Robert Hunt (baritone).

Tuesday, June 11th CHABRIER: España, POULENC: Sinfonietta, FAURE: Requiem, conducted by Gregory Hughes, with Alexis Magarò (soprano), Phillip Dothard (baritone), Chicago Chamber Choir.
