SPRING 2016: PERFORMANCES AT DEPAUL UNIVERSITY
Chicago, IL - I enjoyed participating in a variety of performances at DePaul University this Spring, including two operas, a world premiere, and the annual orchestra concert at Symphony Center:
Friday & Sunday, March 11th & 13th (7:30PM & 2PM), Johann Strauss Jr.'s comedic opera, Die Fledermaus, conducted by Steven Mosteller, at the Merle Reskin Theater (60 East Balbo Drive).
Saturday, April 16th (8PM), Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet Suite and Brahms's Double Concerto conducted by Cliff Colnot at the DePaul Concert Hall (800 West Belden Avenue).
Friday & Sunday, May 13th & 15th (7:30PM & 2PM), Claudio Monteverdi's 1607 opera, L'Orfeo, conducted by Steven Mosteller, at the DePaul Concert Hall (800 West Belden Avenue).
Wednesday, May 18th (8PM), Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5, conducted by Cliff Colnot at Symphony Center (220 South Michigan Avenue).
Friday, May 20th (8PM), Piece for Harp No. 1, a solo harp composition by Scott Anthony Shell premiered at New Music DePaul, at the DePaul Concert Hall (800 West Belden Avenue).
