JUN/15: PERFORMANCE WITH THE CIVIC ORCHESTRA OF CHICAGO FEATURING YO-YO MA

Chicago, IL - On Wednesday, June 10th at Symphony Center, home of the Chicago Symphony, I performed in Stravinsky's Suite from The Firebird with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, conducted by Alastair Willis. The all-Russian program featured world-renowned cellist, Yo-Yo Ma, who performed Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme. The concert was part of the orchestra's "Music in the Schools" outreach program, and was preceeded by a day-long residency at Clinton Elementary School in Rogers Park.
