Chicago, IL - My fifth year performing with DePaul Symphony Orchestra was an exciting one, as the School of Music entered a new era of concerts in a brand new home, the Holtschneider Performance Center:
Tuesday, October 2nd TCHAIKOVSKY: Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy, SHOSTAKOVICH: Symphony No. 9, conducted by Dr. Cliff Colnot (Gannon Concert Hall).
Sunday, October 14th BRAHMS: Four Songs for Two Horns, Harp, and Women's Choir, conducted by Dr. Eric Esparza (Gannon Concert Hall).
Sunday, November 4th & Sunday, November 11th DePaul University's 11-day Unveiled concert series celebrates the opening of the School of Music's brand new Holtschneider Performance Center. On November 4th, I will join DePaul Chamber Orchestra and conductor Hal France for a concert featuring internationally acclaimed soprano, Ana María Martínez. Unveiled culminates on November 11th with the DePaul Symphony Orchestra performing Bruch's Violin Concerto with world-renowned violinist, Itzhak Perlman. The concert, conducted by Dr. Cliff Colnot, will also feature Corigliano's Fantasia on an Ostinato and Stravinsky's The Firebird Suite (Gannon Concert Hall).
Saturday, February 2nd DeFALLA: Suite No. 2 from The Three-Cornered Hat, SATIE: Gymnopedies No. 1 & 3, RAVEL: Bolero and Rhapsodie Espagnol, conducted by Dr. Cliff Colnot (Gannon Concert Hall).
Friday, March 15th & Sunday, March 17th DePaul Opera Theatre presents Hansel & Gretel by Englebert Humperdinck, directed by Harry Silverstein and conducted by Hal France (Merle Reskin Theatre).
Tuesday, April 23rd DVORAK: Carnival Overture and more, conducted by Dr. Cliff Colnot (Gannon Concert Hall).
Wednesday, May 22nd LIADOV: Enchanted Lake, BERLIOZ: Symphony Fantastique, conducted by Dr. Cliff Colnot (Gannon Concert Hall).
